I switched from single issues two years ago and its always a bit of a worry that interesting indie books won’t make it into the trade format, so I’m glad to read that SG is selling well. All my mates who still get single issues are raving about it, the bastards!
Off to write a glowing review of Phonogram for my mate’s zine. Genuinely one of the best comics I’ve read in years, and it was nice to get a different perspective on Brit-pop, a movement I experienced mostly through radio and Newsround coverage of the Oasis/Blur deal – I was only little.
