Back from New York – had a great, great time, although I didn’t get a minute to myself the whole weekend.
Hack/Slash issue 11 is out this week, featuring a cover by me! It looks like this:

I’m doing two signings in the upcoming weeks. First up, on May 3rd is a Free Comic Book Day signing with Mike Carey at They Walk Among Us – details here.
Then on May 8th, I’m doing a signing at Forbidden Planet in Shaftesbury Ave, London.

That’s it. It’s all over! Please let me know what you think, either here or on the McKelvie/Gillen forum.
EDIT: Oh, hey – this CBR article has some lettered and coloured pages from my X-Men story!

The wait is finally over – issue 4 is out next week (9th April in the US/10th elsewhere)!

And it looks like I’m coming to NYCC after all. I’ll be doing a few signings at the Image booth, and also possibly a panel, so keep an eye out for more announcements.

I put together a little soundtrack for Suburban Glamour. It’s made up of songs by bands either featured in the comic or liked by characters.
If you are one of the artists featured and you don’t want your song on there, drop me a line and I’ll remove it.

May 3rd – Mike Carey and me, They Walk Among Us in Richmond.
May 8th – Just me, or maybe with Kieron if I can drag him along, Forbidden Planet, Shaftesbury Ave, London
And:
Just a note to say that for a limited time, I am offering a sale on artwork commissions. All commissions are black ink on Bristol board.
The guide pricing based on the size of the artwork is as follows*:
* A4/Letter – £70/$140
* Full comic board (roughly 11 by 17 inches) – £100/$200
*pricing may vary if image is particularly complex (multiple figures, extensive background, etc).
So if you want a personal piece of artwork featuring a character from Suburban Glamour, Phonogram, or anyone you want, drop me a line at mckelvie AT gmail DOT com!
(This is going to be ending fairly soon once I get back into the next book, so if you do want one don’t leave it too long.)
